What is the monthly rental service price?

The SureConnect service is available exclusively to customers who already have a SureConnect system installed.

The monthly rental price is $27.99.

While we’re no longer offering new installations, we continue to provide full maintenance and support to ensure your existing system operates reliably.

Price does not include HST and is subject to change.

What is included in the SureConnect monthly rental service?

The monthly rental service includes:

  • Ongoing maintenance
  • Customer support
  • Equipment replacement, as outlined in the rental agreement

If upgrades, repairs, or replacements to your electrical equipment (such as your meter base or mast) are ever required to maintain the GenerLink™ device, those costs would be the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the SureConnect Service package.

Is there a minimum rental term?

Yes, there is a minimum rental term of 12 consecutive months.

What happens if I want SureConnect removed from my home?

You must contact NB Power to remove, replace or repair the SureConnect Service including the  GenerLinkTM device. The GenerLinkTM device and GenerLokTM cord set remain the property of NB Power.

Can I still get a new SureConnect system installed?

We’re no longer offering new SureConnect installations. However, if you already have a SureConnect system in place, you’ll continue to receive the same dependable maintenance and support service from our team.

Will my existing SureConnect system continue to be serviced?

Yes. If you currently have a SureConnect system installed, we’ll continue to maintain and support it as part of your ongoing monthly service. Our goal is to ensure your equipment continues to perform safely and reliably.
